Do you know what a “Poe Toaster” is? According to Wikipedia:
Poe Toaster is a media epithet popularly used to refer to an unidentified person (or more probably two persons in succession, possibly father and son) who, for over seven decades, paid an annual tribute to American author Edgar Allan Poe by visiting the cenotaph marking his original grave in Baltimore, Maryland, in the early hours of January 19, Poe’s birthday.
A friend of mine (who saw me doing something illustrative at work) is in an improv group named POE TOASTER, and needed a logo for their event posters. So… Clearly…
And I was feeling uninspired for my pumpkin this year, so I decided to use the last thing in my sketchbook!
I’ll try and find a better picture! Haha.
My friends called me an over-achiever (this did take me… a few hours), but it’s just what I do with pumpkin carving.
